September, despite its many charms, for many of us means the end of the vacation season. Holiday frolics in the sun, wind, hotel air conditioning, sand, salt water or a chlorinated swimming pool are pleasing to the soul, but not to the skin. A suntan keeps up appearances, effectively masking the state of your complexion. This makes it extremely easy to miss the first effects of the passing summer. We hurry with a rescue plan for everyone who is looking for help for tight, dry, discolored, polluted skin after the vacations and wants to prepare it for autumn.

During, above all, hot weather, but also exposure to the weather, the skin loses several times more water than it does on a daily basis. If you forgot about sun protection, the UV rays damage the epidermis by thickening the horny, dead cell layer. The process encourages the appearance of imperfections, clogged pores, flaky skin, and to top it all off, it gives free radicals room to run wild.

The main goal we should set in the process of regenerating the skin after summer is to restore its proper level of hydration. Use products that will nourish and hydrate your skin and prevent water loss. Pay attention to whether they have valuable nutrients, fatty acids or oils in their composition.

SKIN:

      Step 1: Perform a scrub.
This will remove dead skin cells, unclog pores and prepare the skin for further treatments. We recommend at least once a week. Be sure to choose the right product. For your face, use a cosmetic with delicate particles so as not to irritate it further. In a few minutes you can create your own scrub by combining sugar with the oil of your choice. For the body we recommend salt based products such as Indian Summer and the wonderfully citrus scented Mandarinlove or the stimulating Mojito Ocean [here].

      Step 2: Mask.
Refreshed and open skin after exfoliation should be deep cleansed with a mask. Depending on your skin type, choose a moisturizing mask or one that will further smooth your skin. A clay mask [here] combined with your favorite hydrolate [here] will work for this step.

      Step 3: Toning.
Cleansed skin needs its proper pH restored. For dry skin that needs moisture, spray on your favorite toner. We personally use hydrolats, especially rose [here] alternating with raspberry based aloe water [here] , true remedies for dry skin. The products deeply nourish and moisturize, additionally they have antioxidant and strengthening substances in their composition.

      Step 4: Moisturizing.
The previous steps have prepared your skin to receive a good dose of moisture. Be sure to use products that prevent water loss while soothing and calming irritation. Since our task is to help tired skin, we will recommend the use of oils and creams. Guaranteed hydration! Prickly pear oil [here] or plum seed oil [here], in addition to moisturizing properties, have a high content of nutrients, strongly regenerate and protect against adverse weather conditions.

      Step 5: Regeneration at night.
The body regenerates most rapidly during sleep. Especially for this occasion we have created the serum "Intensive Regeneration"[here] . The main ingredient of the product is the most desired oil in the world - prickly pear oil. The cosmetic inhibits the skin aging process, has an antioxidant effect, strengthens cells and blood vessels, contains a range of vitamins and microelements. It guarantees that the skin is nourished while you sleep. What more could you want?

BODY

The skin of the whole body needs to be properly prepared to be moisturized. Remember to scrub regularly, especially those areas that are prone to calluses (elbows, knees). Moisturizing should also be an obligatory point. Body butters, lotions, creams, masks... there are many possibilities. The goal is one.

HAIR

The sun's rays, swimming pool chlorine and salt water damage hair structure making it porous, brittle at the ends and difficult to tame. We love applying oil to our hair (preferably wrapped in a towel overnight) - classically coconut oil or argan oil [here]. During the day, we apply a few drops of our favorite oil to the ends. This allows us to tame unruly ends, smoothing them and visibly improving their condition.

We feel obliged to remind you that regular application of cosmetics will not ensure smooth, supple and healthy skin. At the same time, drink at least a liter of fluids a day and enjoy a balanced diet. This is the perfect team for special tasks!

Autumn is ahead of us, with windy and rainy days accompanied by lower temperatures. It is worth taking care of your skin today, because a moisturized, healthy complexion will better withstand changes in weather conditions. We wish you (and ourselves silently) that the summer does not op
